1. Downloading the template to create orders manually
The only manual way to create orders in LMS is by the Excel template, which you can find in the order overview. To find this template, open the ‘Orders’ menu and click the ‘+ Import orders’ button in the top right corner of the screen. You will now open a sidebar, where a hyperlink is hidden in ‘Template’ in the description. Clicking the hyperlink downloads the Excel template, which is now in your downloads on your computer. That was the first step!
- Open the ‘Orders’ menu
- Click ‘+ Import orders’
- Click ‘Template’ in the description to download by hyperlink
- Find the Excel file in your computer’s downloads
2. Template sheets and functionalities
Once the file has been found and opened, it is time to explore the function and possibilities. The template consists of four sheets with different purposes and functionalities.
- Instructions
The first sheet shows an overview of how to use the template and some information related to its use.
- Orders
Second comes the orders sheet, where you made the orders. Here are 27 columns where some are mandatory and some are optional. Check out the order sheet to become wiser about creating the best possible orders!
- Country codes
The third sheet is a simple overview of the country codes of every country worldwide. You can use country codes in the order sheet as an optional field.
- Notes and calculations
The fourth and last sheet is blank but is meant for you to make notes and calculations related to the orders.
3. Uploading the template
As the last step, you need to upload the sheet to the LMS. Upload the sheet at the same location where you downloaded it, so follow steps 1 & 2 from the template download.
