Whenever a route starts from the address of a distribution center, the Distribution Center App can be used for staging the orders for the route, enhancing the efficiency of the route as the driver will have the orders in the correct order in their vehicle. Read further to be ready to set up a distribution center in Mover so users of the DC App can select the location.

If you use the Distribution Center App in your workflows, you will need to have a Distribution Center set up in Mover for every relevant location. Here's how to do it.
1. Go to Mover > Distribution Center > + New distribution center
2. Fill out the distribution center information
Includes name that the App users will see, the address, and the time between departures possible and desired from the distribution center.
After creation, clicking on the Distribution Center looks like this (before routes exist there):
3. Ensure that App users have the proper permissions
The users going to be using the DC App needs to have the proper accesses. The shown permissions list below is for the default Distribution Worker role.
- Verify that the users are created and note their roles by going to Organization > Users.
- Go to Organization > Roles and verify that the relevant role has the permissions for Distribution center > view and edit
All set!
After this, the distribution center is set up and ready to be used. Whenever a route starts from the address of the distribution center, the DC App can be used for staging the orders for the route.
