Whether you are using Mover yourself, or are helping a business partner set up their organization, this guide will take you step-by-step through the process. If you already have an organization created but need to set it up for a specific logistics role or to configure it, see next steps.
This article covers the following:
1. Go to your access site
First, there are two ways to access Mover:
- through our public access site, app.moversystems.com, and
- if you have a custom access site, you can use that as well
If you are setting up your own organization, you can use the public access site or have us set up a branded custom access site with a special URL. Using a branded site will keep your users in your own ecosystem. Both the public access site and any custom access site will always lead to the same content, data, and settings if the same login is used. If you have a custom access site, you can still always log in through the public access site.
If you are creating a new organization for a business partner, you can use either the public site or your branded one, depending on your needs. For example, you may want to keep your own route executors on your branded site. To keep things simple for your partners, we recommend presenting them with a single-access site.
2. Sign in to your personal user
To create an organization, you need to log into your personal user, and out of any organization.
In Mover, you have a single personal user profile to use across organizations, and you can switch between them with the tap of a button. No need to remember several passwords. Switching back and forth between organizations is a breeze!
On the access site, you should see something like this:
-
- If you don’t have a user, create one by clicking sign up. You only need a name, an email, and a password. Skip steps 2-3.
- If you have a user and are already logged into an existing organization, go to the user panel in the far bottom left corner, then go to the dropdown menu and select sign out.
- If you already have a user, enter your information and click sign in
- Once logged in, you should see your organization list, which looks something like this depending on your organization:
3. Create the new organization
From the organization list, you will be presented with a list of your existing organizations, if any, to log into. You will also be presented with the opportunity to create a new organization.
- Create the organization by clicking create a new organization, and enter the name of the organization. You will be returned to your new updated organization list.
- Click your new organization in the list. Congratulations – you are now in business!
