HIGHLIGHTS
Introducing Services
The concept of Services allows our users to be able to deliver an additional service, together with their Shipments. The service could be a kitchen assembly, a network cable configuration up or a window cleaning. All of it supported and tracked within the TMS, benefitting from our route optimization capabilities, driver support, live tracking and customer communication.
Services is found under Orders in the left hand menu. From there, it is also possible to set up Service enrichments.
Order and Service Enrichment
This new feature allows our users to be able to define their own enrichment rules to automatically add or modify Orders or Services properties, when the predefined criteria are met. This new feature empowers users to better integrate their Orders and Services with meaningful information without requesting ad hoc configurations.
If the specified Criteria are met, the defined Actions are automatically performed when the Order/Service is validated.
- Criteria:
- Tag (only for Orders)
- Zip Code
- Actions:
- Add tag
- Add estimated collo (only for Orders)
- Update delivery address (only for Orders)
- Assign Order to Organization (only for Orders
You will find the new features under Orders and Services in the left menu.
OTHER NEW FEATURES
- Improved logging of Drivers Positions. We implemented a new service dedicated to live tracking, which will also be responsible for storing the Drivers live gps positions, improving performance across the system.
- Assign Order to Organization. Through the newly released Order Enrichment section, it is now possible to configure rules to assign Orders to other organizations, when you want to delegate the Route Planning responsibilities to them.
- When using the Add colli functionality, if the App is closed by the user, or is subject to a crash, the progress is lost. With this development we are making sure that progress is not lost when encountering this type of problem, and that the Driver can resume his task from the point where it was interrupted.
IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES
- Fixed issue where OrderGroup was in locked state for a while, which caused schedules to pile up and caused route optimization jobs to run without triggered order groups.
- Routes displayed with the wrong criticality. Solved a bug which caused the criticality to be wrongly computed for some of the Routes.
- Fixed a setup error for Vehicle groups caused by line spacing
- Solved a bug that did not render the login screen correctly when accessing the TMS from mobile through Safari browser
- Further improved the data quality of the datetime values by streamlining the way of handling time zones across the Route domain to one standard.
