Highlights – Driver app enhancements
This time around we have a few quality of life improvements for the driver app! We hope you'll like it!
Multiple pictures for proof of delivery [Data capture – driver app] The driver can now take up to 4 pictures as Proof of Delivery. This feature is particularly useful when you have to document the successful delivery of large orders, and not all packages can fit in one picture. In addition to these changes in the Driver App, the pictures will be displayed in the TMS, as part of the Route Stop details, and in the Backoffice, so that planners and support users will be able to check them. |

Improved break screen [Usability – driver app] We improved the break screen, to make it easier for the Driver to know what to do, and to make sure all data displayed are coherent. Before being able to continue with the execution of next stop, the Driver will have to Drive to the next stop and Take a break. This setup allows the driver to see the planned duration of the break, but also the current position compared to next stop (updated live, while the driver is moving). |
Fixes and improvements
- [Usability – driver all] Fixed a bug for which Driver Apps with iOS operating system did not always vibrate / emit a sound when scanning a collo.
- [Reliability – routes] A small, but long awaited fix now sets the time frame for return stops to 00:00-23:59 instead of offset by 1 or 2 hours depending on time zone. This affects routes crated through the route optimisation.
- [Reliability – route planning] When planning multiple orders with the same relational ID, we will now correctly use the overlap among the time frames available for those orders to determine when to arrive at that recipient.
- [Data cleanup – driver app] A route stop for which a customer did nor provide a phone number, will no longer display a “+” in the phone number field in the Driver App, but will hide the entire phone number, so that the Driver will have a clearer and simpler overview.
